This round table brings together several respected visionaries and implementers of smart grid applications to discuss how private and public events such as the Plug-In at Grid-Interop are necessary to accelerate the successful implementation of smart grid applications through multi-vendor, standards based interoperability.

The panel, moderated by Google Vint Cerf - one of the founders of the Internet through his work on the TCP/IP protocol suite - will discuss the challenges vendors and their utility customers have in realizing the vision of a seamlessly integrated suite of products and systems of systems.
